Keychain Machining Fixture Design

In my capstone manufacturing course, Tooling and Fixture Design, we finished the quarter with a fixture design project. The objective was to design a fixture for work holding an aluminum workpiece for machining into a keychain. Along with my partner, Jonas Honeyman, we designed and manufactured our fixture using SolidWorks and HSM Works to program our Haas VF2SS Mill. The design process also included basic FEA into the clamping force on the workpiece.
